For 1 portion you´ll need:
500g flour
42g yeast
60g sugar
250ml lukewarm milk
100g melted butter
50g soft butter
150g brown sugar
1ts cinnamon
50g powdered sugar
3ts milk
vanilla flavor
This recipe is just as delicious as it is simple. Most of the time you just have to wait for the yeast to do a majority of the work. The rest is quite simple.
How to:
1.Heat the milk slightly until it reaches room temperature. Then crumble the yeast into the milk and add the sugar. Mix well, cover it up and let it rise in the oven on the lowest setting for about 15 minutes.
2. Add flour and butter to the risen mixture and knead well for at least 5 minutes. Then cover again and let rise in the oven for another 20 minutes.
3.Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick, brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll the dough and cut the roll into 2-3 cm thick pieces.
4.Spread the rolls in a baking dish and let them rise again in the oven.
After another 20 minutes, remove from the oven and preheat it to 160 degrees and bake the rolls for 30 minutes.
5.Mix the powdered sugar with milk and vanilla flavoring for the glaze. Alternatively, of course, lemon with powdered sugar also works here.
Spread the glaze on the cooled cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
